Маргіналізація офіційної науки: Необхідність толерантності між парадигмами

Abstract

The article examines the process of marginalization of the official science. Science is the basis of modern information technologies. Without it would be impossible to achieve in the field of space exploration, medicine, genetics, Cybernetics.. But not only science affects society and society affects science as a social institution and, in particular, on scientists who are members of the society. In the situation of postmodernity changed the cultural function of science. Her identity is blurred. Science is from this point of view one of the spheres of professional activity, has only a practical value in creating opportunities for the design of new technical systems, but claim to possession of truth have no reason to. In different branches of science requirements to its criteria differ. It gives the opportunity to be a marginal science. Marginality occurs under the influence of external factors related to socio-economic and socio-cultural transformation of society as a whole, which, in turn, made social groups that previously had a high status, change, or completely lose it and the associated social environment, social relations and the system of value orientations. With this understanding, and science and pseudo-science in the culture of equal triumphs playful attitude to life. Pseudo-games do not require the use of cumbersome and expensive equipment, and are more cost effective than science classes. In these circumstances, it blurs the boundary between science and pseudoscience, which hampers technological development. For the modern Ukrainian science, as a social institution, characteristically, that it was not spared the process of transformation of the Ukrainian social structure of marginalization of a large part of the population. Marginal science is an independent field of theoretical knowledge which does not correspond to cash the criteria of science, but in different branches of science requirements to its criteria is excellent. It gives the opportunity to be a marginal science. The interactions between formal science and marginal science required tolerance
