Abstract

La teoría cuántica ha generado la mayor crisis del realismo de la historia de la ciencia moderna. Su incuestionable éxito predictivo va acompañado de una singular cadena de aspectos extraños, cuando no decididamente paradójicos, que surgen de la llamada interpretación ortodoxa. En este artículo presento resumidamente los fundamentos del formalismo y sus consecuencias inmediatas y paso revista a las principales alternativas interpretativas. Pretendo mostrar que el divorcio entre la teoría cuántica y una interpretación realista del mundo no es, en absoluto, inevitable
