Abstract

While the pacification of the world with reference to the Kantian right of freedom prevails politically, the philosophical discussion of the project appears stale and inconclusive. It remains difficult to determine whether and how world peace might be possible on a Kantian basis. Philosophical cosmopolitanism currently suffers from a troublesome aporia.
