Abstract

This project aims to address the challenges of domestic waste management through a comprehensive web-based solution. With inefficient waste handling posing significant environmental and public health issues, our solution offers a multifaceted approach to improve waste management practices. The system provides a range of features, including educational resources on waste reduction, reuse, and recycling, to enhance public awareness. It also includes a community engagement section for reporting local waste issues and requesting bin collections. Additionally, advanced image recognition technology is employed to classify waste materials into hazardous, recyclable, organic, or inorganic categories. By integrating these features, we expect to achieve more efficient waste segregation and management, contributing to a cleaner and more sustainable environment and fostering greater community involvement.
