Structured Resonance and the Nature of Intelligence Abstract This paper introduces a novel framework for unifying faith, reason, and science as different phases of structured epistemological emergence. Instead of treating faith and reason as oppositional forces, we propose that faith functions as a pre-evidence phase-locking mechanism that aligns cognition with structured reality before logical validation occurs. Reason then refines coherence, and science operationalizes and tests it. This model eliminates the historical duality between faith and reason, demonstrating that they are simply different timescales of the same structured resonance process. Using the Chirality of Dynamic Emergent Systems (CODES) framework, we argue that knowledge formation is inherently wave-driven, self-organizing, and structured rather than probabilistic. This shift redefines epistemology by treating uncertainty not as randomness, but as an incomplete phase-locking process that progressively stabilizes into coherence.
