Abstract

The Emerging Church is a term used to describe a loose association of movements in England and in the USA that sought to rethink conventional notions of ecclesiology or theory of the church. Along with these shifts were also some significant and different ways of approaching Christianity and theology from the perspective of praxis. In this chapter, Kester Brewin, one of the earliest figures of the movement, reflects on its history and aims.
