Abstract

In this article the main dimensions of the equality concept and their relationship with that of the democracy in Tocqueville’s political thought are going to be analyzed. These dimensions are: the democracy generator fact, ideological imaginary and passion for equality. We take as a textual basis his work Democracy in America
