Abstract

The article proposes a revision of the theory of the culture of Herbert Marcuse, from its early writings until some theses of its last Works. The fundamental idea of the text is that the conception of art and the aesthetic experience that the author maintains presents elements for a more complex comprensión of his theory of affirmative culture and for the negation of the idea of its radical elimination.
