Abstract

The explosion of human knowledge has brought rapid progress of science and technology. Absolutely no history of a generation whose changes will be more intense than the twentieth century, no wonder the well-known sociologist Ta Fule to "J to describe the impact of future human exposure to the modern mentality. The progress of civilization is a blessing? or a curse? This is a matter of debate. Although the invention of the atomic bomb ended World War II, but it also brings anxiety, human beings believe it will be because of atomic power and all of extinction. Technologies is the nature, it can bring well-being, can bring the scourge.'s economic take-off may be a human being into another level of material comfort, but also selfish monopoly may be a group of people leaving the slavery of another group of people in this civilization and progress under the impact of the professional ethics of human happiness and harmony to maintain the rule of law are essential. ethics is not a new era, the beginning of human civilization made on the social and interpersonal relationships unique insight and vigilance, whether East or West , whether Socrates or Confucius, Jesus or Buddha, the ethical teachings are well-meaning intentions are on the increase. former ethics although it contains a man and nature, man and God, human relationships, but after all, in a material relatively simple society, ethical practice, unlike today's complex, but they also have a layer of endless problems, not to mention today? we face today is an era of rapid material, can be described as rapid advances in technology, but people relationship between people but also will be materialized and today professional ethics, whether biomedical ethics, business ethics, management ethics, social ethics, political ethics ... ... are emphasizing the importance of humanity. For example, medical ethics is not only To enhance the doctor-patient relationship, but also in health promotion research, also noted the problem of human nature to think, after all, people are not "objects", but the existence of the sacred dignity, how can we as a substance the body parts, lightly to "it" attitude of treatment? Ethics in business management, reputation management ethics is a major concern. Although the business is to make money as a target, but in the discussion of business ethics, the emphasis on honesty and credibility is essential to make money. Customer respect of ethics, is the only way to success. Create Bioethics word bioethics scholar Van Potter as the bridge towards the future, but also it is the science of human survival . There is no concern of bioethics, human self-destruction will be, and contains a bioethics medical ethics, business ethics, social ethics, ecological ethics ... .... Our new generation will be a change in the era of endless, but it may also change in a peaceful era, is a competitive era, but they can also guide and support each other's age, is a selfish era, but they can also a mutual assistance and cooperation of the era. The key is that we can develop a personalized professional ethics to be implemented in the community? This paper will use the Jewish scholar Martin Buber's "I and Thou''Ethical Theory and the United States by Reinhold Niebuhr's" Moral Man and Immoral Society "to think about medical technology, health and management of professional ethics. Is technological development a blessing or a curse to human kind? The discovery of nuclear energy, eg the atomic bomb, ended the devastating World War Two, and also helped cure many diseases when utilizing in medical services. Technology indeed has many positive impacts on our lives but it can also destroy human civilization when misused. Technology complicates the definition of life, eg does life begin at conception or at birth? Does life end when breath stops or when brain ceases functioning? Our old value systems upon which human depended to maintain a harmonious cosmic order in the past has been challenged by the new ethos which favors technological breakthrough and individual autonomy. "If it feels good, why not?" becomes the norm of decision-making for many young people. Some even say that norms and principles are superfluous. We don't need any ethics as human rationality or even intuition is the best guide to our decision-makings. We indeed face a new reality. Are we in a new age favoring valueless value? Dr. Van Potter coined the word 'bioethics "in 1970. He said bioethics is a science of survival and also a bridge to the future. In other words, ethics can no longer be the monopoly of the science of humanities but must be expanded to cover all fields relating to human living and lives. Why so? because our world has changed. Ecological disaster strikes just when technology seems to claim victory over nature. Medicine can also prolong a meaningless life indefinitely. Enterprise aiming at profit-making is deducing human kind simply to means rather than ends. Dr. Van Potter warned that we need bioethics for our survival to enter the future. Reinhold Niebuhr's book "Moral Man and Immoral Society" shocked many people as they assumed that rationality had found the way toward perfection for human kind. Paradoxically, when all moral men gather together, the society in which they reside turns into an immoral one. Why? basically, human kind is selfishly egoistic working only to benefit and promote himself. Bioethics which includes the discussion of medical ethics, social ethics, business ethics, environmental ethics,. "etc, reminds us that humanization or perhaps, conscientization is the way to go. This paper will use Martin Buber's theory as a basis to see how our bioethics, including health-care ethics, biotech ethics, management ethics" should proceed in the 21 century.
