Abstract

Por acreditarmos que a dupla constituição da espécie humana não pode mais ser negligenciada pela fetichização de um de seus aspectos, pretendemos realizar um esforço inicial de aproximação entre as ideias produzidas pela psicanálise e pelas neurociências. Como objeto de investigação teórica, selecionamos os conceitos de Eu em Freud e de Self em Damásio para um estudo comparativo, em função das ressonâncias que apresentam, particularmente no que se refere ao lugar do corpo na sua constituição. Estamos certas de que as ressonâncias e as dissonâncias encontradas podem servir de inspiração para o enriquecimento teórico de ambos os campos de pesquisa, guardadas as suas especificidades epistemológicas. Because we believe that dual constitution of the human species can no longer be neglected by the fetishization of one of its aspects, we plan to achieve an initial effort for rapprochement between the ideas produced by psychoanalysis and the neurosciences.
