Les travailleurs sociaux à l’épreuve de l’efficacité

Abstract

In child protection, the injunction imposed by the effectiveness of new public management has materialized in 2007 the creation of the unit for collection, dealing with and assessing the worrying pieces of information of those identified children. The question of the family involvement and / or support in assessing the situation of minors in danger or at risk of being recomposes the child protection and brings the effectiveness of this device into question. An original empirical study of 175 social workers from five french departments reveal the changes of professional practices in this new context.
