Abstract

Nous rappelons ici les définitions et les caractères des mots et des concepts suivants : hasard, loi, finalité, ordre, déterminisme. Nous insisterons sur les relations entre ces concepts. Puis nous tenterons de bien définir le rôle du hasard dans les grands faits évolutifs : hasard et lois de l’évolution, le hasard chez Kimura, hasard et finalité apparente, hasard et libre arbitre humain. We bring together here the definitions and characteristics of the following words and concepts : chance, law, finality, order, determinism. We then underscore the relations between those concepts. And we try thereafter to define as best we can the role of chance in the great evolutionary facts : chance and the laws of evolution, chance according to Kimura, chance and apparent finality, chance and human freedom.
