Abstract

LANGUAGE NOTE | Document text in Chinese; abstract also in English. Brain–computer interface (BCI) technology is an emerging disruptive technology, whose potential risks have been exposed in clinical trials and applications. BCI technology has the characteristics of dual use, and the BCI testing process involves unclear or uncertain risks. Therefore, ethics committees should fully review the ethical aspects of BCI trials in clinical settings.
