Best known as the founder of modern nursing, Florence Nightingale was also a trailblazer in health science and health statistics, philosophy, political advocacy and reform, environmentalism, evidence-based practice, feminism, holistic nursing, nursing theory, and public health. Her far-reaching legacy is still relevant to modern day healthcare issues. Three renowned holistic nurse scholars join the director of the Florence Nightingale Museum to present a portrait of this remarkable woman.
