Abstract
This article discusses and reflects on the contributions of Critical Theory Society for the field of Philosophy of Education, as this offers a revolutionary theory knowledge for overtaking oppressive social realities and ideological. To this end, returned his gaze to the works Walter Benjamin, Theodor W. Adorno and Herbert Marcuse highlighting reflections and analyzes of these authors and using them as allowance in the educational field. The self-reflexive and self-education is thought to their potential to overcome the conditions of domination that remain in our society, increasingly tecnificada and supposedly more democracy. Thus, thinking educational praxis as it appears something urgent and necessary for breaks with the conditions that keeps our potential to barbarism.
