Abstract
This book, number 14 in the Studia series published by Les Facultés S. J. de Montréal, is essentially a critical study of the different opinions of recent neo-scholastic authors on the theoretical basis and possibility of the deontological argument for the existence of God. The author divides the theories into two basic types, "Extrinsécisme" and "Intrinsécisme," with various subdivisions within these two main classifications. The book is valuable for its summaries and criticisms, and especially for its exhaustive bibliography. A valuable analytic table of contents and an index of proper names have been appended.—E. A. R.
