Abstract

Dominated by the Neo-Platonism the western scientific thought, until century XVIII, represented the sexuality like the one-sex model. From beginings of XIX century the differences between men and women begin to be thought in terms of discontinuity and opposition; and no longer more in terms of continuity andhierarchy, that is tos ay, of the two-sex model. In that context, the creation of the homosexuality appears like the theoretical-political prove of the consistency to this second paradigm, as well as of the construction of the sexual difference. Also, by venid this discussions it sublies the debate between constructivits and esencialits in relation to the character and meaning of the human sexuality
