Abstract

本书试图论证: 法治、自由、民主、人权等价值是植根于西方社会历史和文化土壤的西方文化价值, 并至少并不完全适合于中国文化的习性. 未来中国现代性的发展可能在一定程度上与这些价值相融, 甚至在一定程度上需要吸收或发展它们, 但是它们决不能构成未来中国现代性的核心价值.--
