Abstract

ABSTRACT The anthropological conception deployed in the Manuscripts of 1944 can be seen as a constant throughout Marx's work, and is of particular importance for drawing an ethical reading of fundamental political notions such as social emancipation, free time or communism. On this basis, the concepts of generic and social being are developed in order to establish the main features of the Marxian ontology and to identify the main philosophical elements that would found the critical perspective of Marx and his emancipatory project.
