Abstract

The article focuses on the works of Bertolt Brecht which depicts his insights regarding the reconstruction of Germany. Such works include the story "The City Builder" and the plays "Caucasian Chalk Circle" and "The Days of the Commune." It discusses his principles of what he considers as good building as well as the three criteria addressed in good building which include size, time, and beauty.
