Filmmaking: Narrative & Structural Techniques

(1992)
  Copy   BIBTEX

Abstract

Filmmaking is a unique, illustrated guide to and appraisal of the basic narrative and structural techniques employed, either consciously or intuitively, by all successful filmmakers. Filled with examples from popular films, the book seamlessly joins theory and practice in an accessible approach to filmmaking that should find an eager audience among filmmakers (directors, editors, cinematographers, producers and screenwriters). Bob Foss is co-writer of the screenplay for Disney's Shipwrecked.
