Abstract

It is painful for a mother to see her child lagging behind; she'd be ready to face any difficulty to bring her child at par. Arya’s mother is no different, and yet having watched her at close range while we both worked towards Arya's rehabilitation, I am deeply moved. She is a revelation; her devotion and perseverance in the face of crushing odds is an inspiration not only to other parents but also to therapists like me, telling us to never give up.
