Abstract

The book is a central contribution to the study of religious language in relation to the Scholastic 'rules'. The volumes includes two studies A treatise on Implicit Propositions from around the Turn of the Twelfth Century, and A Twelfth Century Theological Grammar The tractatus de tropis loquendi by Peter the Chanter.
