Gender Differences and Public Health

Abstract

This article try to explain the connections between gender concept and the acces to public health with two main streams: feminist and universal. The actual situation of women in health policy is a priority if we want an equal acces. This article shows only a few aspects of the actual gender differences. The work, child care, marriage, etc. are correlated with health condition, so women equal health acces must be a main direction of actual research and policy construction. In the end of this article, is shown some of the world policy measures with the pourpose of a global understanding of actual gender health strategies.
