Abstract

As Michael Forster rather wittily points out in the introduction to his Hegel and Skepticism, books in the "... and _____" genre quite often involve somewhat implausible juxtapositions. But in this case the conjunction is well justified, since important issues not only in Hegel-interpretation but also in epistemology in general turn on Hegel's treatment of skepticism.
