Rejection of metaphysics and the construction of metaphysics - the strange paradox of logical positivism

Abstract

This paper focuses on the modern rejection of metaphysics and philosophy of building theme, reveal the philosophy of the Vienna school of logical positivism, represented by the inner contradictions. People always think that the Vienna school of the most powerful rejection of metaphysics. Author does not agree with this conclusion. In this paper, sort out the history of Western philosophy and the rejection of metaphysical construction of the evolution of the origins, indicating the common features of metaphysics, and thus re-examine the Vienna school of philosophy; and then focus on an analysis of the school in the rejection of metaphysics, while covertly construct metaphysical paradox, that the philosophical conception of the school and there are only scientific discipline orientation tendency, logical positivism methods rely heavily on the experience of a priori non-default, unified efforts of science knowledge in the pursuit of the ultimate, all of which are associated with the school generation, development and decline of the whole process; final analysis of this paradox for a variety of causes and unexpected consequences
