Abstract

The Second USSR Conference on Philosophical Problems of Natural Science, dedicated to the centenary of Lenin's birth, was held in Moscow, December 1-4, 1970. Over 700 Soviet philosophers and natural scientists took part in the work of the conference, as did scholars from abroad. This conference was organized by the Learned Council on Philosophical Problems in Natural Science of the USSR Academy of Sciences and by the Academy's Institute of Philosophy.
