Aging: A New Problem of Modern Medicine

Abstract

This dissertation provides a philosophical analysis of the language of clinical diagnosis with respect to the aging process. Aging shows many analogies and resemblances both to "health states" and "disease states." Our key question is whether or not aging is itself a kind of illness or disease
