Abstract

The aim of the article is to investigate the interrelation between religion, politics and moral and their impact on the Danish society. For an investigation of the impact of religion on society it is important to understand religion itself, to examine the relationship between religion and politics and between religion and moral. The influence religion has upon political and moral values in Denmark seem rather limited; the impact is weak and it does not seem to have much potential for changing society as a whole. This is hardly surprising taking the individualisation of Danish religiosity into consideration. Religion may have influenced Danish society in the past but its potential for doing so today and in the foreseeable future is limited.
