Abstract

Google books and the Humanities. This article examines some steps of the evolution of the relationship between computer science and humanities and focuses on the activity of Google in the digitization, preservation and dissemination of cultural assets. In particular it critically analyses the role of Google Books and the meaning of the Big Data in the Digital Humanities.
