Abstract

The Green beltGreen Belt is a good example of what happens in a borderBorder zone when the natureNature is left alone without any disturbance from human activityHuman activity. What happens is determined by the species’ inner potentialities and the living conditions in the belt. The same can be said about developmentDevelopment of any organism in general. It is not the potentiality within the organism that determines the result, but the interactionInteraction between the potentiality in the organism and the environment. This article will try to show how research on two so different topics as epigeneticsEpigenetics and practical knowledgePractical knowledge/borderologyBorderology can benefit from each other’s results. Both focus on the condition for interactionInteraction in their specific type of borderBorder zone.
