Abstract

O objectivo do presente artigo é investigar a noção de boa vontade na primeira secção da Fundamentação, da Metafísica dos Costumes de Kant. O artigo começa por elucidar em que sentido Kant realiza uma verdadeira revolução copernicana no domínio da fundamentação da ética para, em seguida, mostrar porque é que a boa vontade constitui a única coisa boa em si mesma e é boa sem limitação. /// The main purpose of this article is to research the notion of good will in the first section of Kant's Groundwork of the Metaphysics of Morals. The article starts by showing in what sense Kant realizes a Copernican revolution in the grounding of ethics. It proceeds then to show why it is that the good will constitutes the only thing that is good in itself and is good without limitation.
