Ecological and economic challenges of modern society

Abstract

The articles researches the topical issue of ecological and economic subjectmatter, which quitted the global theoretical and practical issue in the early 70-s, when the world suffered the global oil crisis and the first signals were received about the catastrophic changes in the environment. The industrial community, having achieved the highest level of technological modernization is not able to regulate its relations with nature and approaches an inevitable degradation of natural and urbanized environment to the depletion of irrecoverable, first of all energy resources.
