Abstract

The article makes a critic summary of Nello Cipriani’s book I Dialoghi di Agostino. Guida alla lettura, Roma 2012, presenting a new way of reading St. Augustine’s Casciacum Dialogues, underlining the methodological mistakes done in the works’ approach by many scholars, and also highlighting Augustine’s sources in the Dialogues, to demonstrate that Augustine converted to Christianity and not to Platonism.
