Abstract

En este trabajo se trata de analizar de un modo genérico las distintas maneras en que se ha enfocado la noción viquiana de Providencia. Ello pone de manifiesto el antagonismo que ha existido y existe entre la exégesis inmanentista y la trascendental del pensamiento viquiano; así como la distinta forma en que se ha concebido la ubicación de la filosofia del napolitano, a lo largo de los años en que se ha venido investigando sobre la naturaleza y significación de las doctrinas viquianas.This paper attempts to provide a rough analysis of the manyfold ways according to which the Vichian notion of Providence has been clarified. It endeavors to emphasize both the recurrent and still lasting antagonism between the immanent and the transcendental interpretation of Vico’s thought and the different approaches in which scholars have tried to assess his philosophical contribution
