Abstract

RésuméLe problème du commencement occupe une place centrale clans la pensée de F. Gonseth. La solution qu'il lui apporte, sur laquelle repose toute sa théorie de la connaissance, est paradoxale en ce sens qu'elle dénic à toute connaissance la possibilityé de s'édifier ex nihilo; or historiquement, la connaissance a bien dû coninicncer tine fois. La levée de ce paradoxe fait appel à des concepts prônés par le récent mouvement systémique.SummaryThe problem of the beginning is important in Gonseth's thought. The solution that he gives, and on which his entire epistemology is based, is paradoxical in that it denies that knowledge may be built up ex nihilo; but, historically, knowlege did indeed at some time have to begin. The resolution of this paradox makes use of concepts adopted by the recent systemics movement
