Abstract

In a previous study it was established that the author of 4Q521 has used a Hebrew source which is known as the Latin Life of Adam and Eve. The present observations deal with the three great figures of the Qumran fragment : Adonai, the Messiah and the Saoshyant, an eschatological hero from Iranian mythology who brings about the resurrection and is called the « Giver of Life » here
