Abstract

Abstract. The increasing adoption of IPv6 has introduced new security concerns, including the threat of Denial of Service (DoS) and Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks. These attacks leads service disruptions, financial losses, and reputational damage. A Denial of Service (DoS) attack is when a single computer or device sends a large amount of traffic to a network or website. Whereas A Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) launched from multiple devices or computers, making it harder to block and more powerful. We detect these attacks using the Wireshark ,Kali Linux and Bashtop.
