Abstract

The paper is grounded in a wide research of new journalistic genres in current weeklies. Examining a sample of 102 copies of four Slovak weeklies the author defined some new genres and new findings about some traditional ones. Here she presents the current editorial in detail: working with five genre criterions and presenting its characteristics.
