Abstract

This paper is part of a ongoing research on Kant’s Philosophy of Nature. It analyzes a writing of the Opus postumum , Transition from the Metaphysical Principles of the Science of Nature to Physics. It is the third paper on a series which mean to deepen the knowledge about Kant “als Naturforscher”, reviewing and complementing the classical studies by Adickes, Cohen and Vuillemin, among others. Our first investigations point to a deeper knowledge of Physics by Kant then what is suggested by Adickes, who sustained that Kant “kein empirischer Forscher und in den Naturwissenschaften nur ein Dilletant war” [“whasn’t a empirical researcher and was a mere amateur concerning the Sciences of Nature”]. The present research, on Transition from the Metaphysical Principles of the Science of Nature to Physic, tries the hypothesis of a Kant “physical”, and not only metaphysical . This research should be continued with the scrutinizing of other papers by Kant, either on the Pre-critical period or in the Critical period.Este texto dá continuidade a pesquisa sobre a Filosofia da Natureza de Kant. Trata-se de analisar, agora, texto da Opus postumum , Transição dos princípios metafísicos da ciência da natureza para a Física. Este texto é o terceiro de uma série, e visa aprofundar o conhecimento de Kant “als Naturforscher”, revisando e complementando os estudos clássicos de Adickes, Cohen e Vuillemin, entre outros. Nossas primeiras investigações apontam para um conhecimento mais aprofundado de Física por parte de Kant do que dá a entender Adickes, o qual afirmou que Kant “kein empirischer Forscher und in den Naturwissenschaften nur ein Dilletant war”. A presente investigação, a respeito da Transição dos princípios metafísicos da ciência da Natureza para a Física visa testar a hipótese de um Kant “físico”, e não somente metafísico . A investigação deve ter continuidade, com exame de outros textos de Kant que tratam da Física, como o pré-crítico Teoria do céu , o que será feito em outra ocasião
