Abstract

We began this effort in order to examine the connections between ethics and human resource development. This chapter provides an overview of the book. The book is separated into the following sections: (a) Background, (b) Ethics in organizations and society, (c) Corporate social responsibility and sustainability, (d) Diversity, equity, inclusion, and culture, and (e) Ethics and the profession of HRD, and (f) Future issues. This chapter provides a brief overview of each of the book chapters.
