Abstract

Human nature is a central theme also of Spinoza′s political philosophy. His conception of government and governing includes a variety of reflections on how to effectively influence and direct human behaviour. The reconstruction of this theme in Spinoza′s writing can reveal surprising connections with current discussions on the relationship between politics and nature
