Abstract

The Spirit is the form and transforming power of divine love. As the bond and ever-greater «more» of the love of Father and Son, the Spirit is the sovereign freedom and fruitfulness of God. As the ekstasis of divine love in theologia, the Spirit is also God's openness outward as love for the world in oikonomia. By forming the human life and mission of Jesus Christ to be the revelation of the self-surrendering triune love for the sinful world and by conforming believers in new and unique ways to Christ in his body and bride the church, the Spiritus Creator transforms the whole creation and incorporates it into the life of the triune God
