Abstract

The relationship between metaphysics and Christian faith is identified in a joint effort and in a dispute on the issue of freedom of thought, which is essentially the ability to critically accept the necessity, i. e. what constrains the thought, in other terms as freedom for the fundament. Such freedom, which defines the “lifestyle choice” of philosophy, accentuated by the comparison with the Christian faith, is the basis for a dialogue with the notion of freedom developed by Claudio Ciancio.
