Abstract

Philosophy of Liberation raises the fundamental question for the possible realization of genuinely ethical praxis, of a liberated and authentic life. In fact, this conditio sine qua non implies that the category of ‘liberation’ does not belong only to the contingent dimension expressed by the sociopolitical situation in which being Latin-American people, or of the Third World, but point to the very constitution of subjectivity as intersubjectivity and, therefore, liberated and liberating. Then the ‘liberation’ modifies the conditions generated by each culture and the subject becomes able to recognize itself as based on relationships with others. Thus, subjectivity reveals its fundamental form as intersubjectivity and/or ‘border’ subjectivity
