Abstract

L'auteur montre que la définition par Hobbes de la liberté comme absence d'obstacle physique est liée à des convictions métaphysiques mais aussi à des prises de positions politiques, à l'encontre de la tradition antique ou des critiques que certains de ses contemporains adressaient au "Parlement Croupion"
