On Mr. Huang Zuolin's "View on Drama of Depicted Desires"

Abstract

Mr. Huang Zuolin's "impressionistic view of drama," both in the domestic theater a big hit at the same time around the "freehand theater view" of criticism at home and abroad has become a controversial hot topic. But these criticisms and controversies are lost in the bias: Mr. Huang Zuolin the "freehand theater view" to seize the vital development of Chinese drama, drama on the rigid traditional concept is a huge shock. Mr. Zuolin concept of the three plays, he plays compared to a study of sublimation, is his guide for the world's performing arts theater system with the development of creative discovery. The "yellow Zuolin phenomenon" is a consistent trend of historical development of drama theatrical phenomenon is a subject worthy of further study. Mr. Zuolin freehand aesthetic goal is to play into the concept of "three dramatic concept" and "comprehensive." It is not only his theories, but the stage constitutes the consistent practice of his goals. His impressionistic drama concept still has a broad space for development, his theory still has a viable basis for the practice. Mr. Huang Zuolin's "View on Drama of Depicted Desires" had made great influence at home and abroad, and had been criticized which are not fair and partial to some degree. Mr. Huang Zuolin grasped the key problem of China drama to break the traditional views in his "View on Drama of Depicted Desires", which is representative result of his comparative drama studies, and an original idea for the development of the play performance in the world. "The Huang Zuolin Case" is a project that is worthy to study. His theory with a feasible base could be extended and developed
