Abstract
The Seventh-Day Adventist Latin American Seminary in S. Paulo, Brazil with its principles, goals and objectives. It is a result of the missionary vision of the adventist pioneers and missionaries who inspired by the Word of God brought the gospel into the Brazilian land, Brazil, leaving the seed of truth and a powerful 'sense of Mission.' ;The Seventh-day Adventist Church had grown marvelously in the country reached 343,000 members . Its biggest educational institution in South America is the 'Instituto Adventista de Ensino' IAE. Known as SDA Brazil College, it is a real missionary agency. Among the schools, the Seminary has a solid evangelical outreach and missionary program called 'Missao Iaense' , where participate 10,500 SDA members, seminarians and teachers of the College. ;This doctoral proposal has the following objectives: To give in a general scope a 'flash' of the pioneers' missionary spirit since the origin of the SDA church 'till now'. This is the foundation of the outreach program we are running now and the future projections--reflect this biblical 'sense of Mission' that characterizes the church and it is visible in the practical courses of orientation and pastoral formation of the Seminary. To investigate how the SDA church had grown in impressive ways around the campus. And what factors had contributed for such a growth, to notice then where are we falling? How are we growing? What are the strong and weak points? So we can enlarge and sharp the focus for a better 'vision of the Mission'. To give and to recommend strategies to become a better and healthy church in areas of Church Growth, Revival and Renewal of the Laity, and Small Groups. Based on the New Testament biblical principles and patterns. ;As a result of the 'Field survey' we applied in the area we need to improve the program of the church by following some Church Growth Principles. In the area of Revival and Renewal of the Laity it is a must to go back to the New Testament pattern and principles and in order to become a real and authentic Christian Community a regular program of Small Groups will enrich the life of the congregations
