A commentary on contemporary culture, focusing on the tension between the viewpoints of G.K. Chesterton and Jean Baudrillard. Walton (retired president, Catholic University of America) builds his arguments in the margins of Harvard Professor Richard Pipes' claim that the US has recently acquired a "vociferous intelligentsia."
