Abstract

Yoji Akashi telah menarik perhatian kita kepada satu kekosongan dalam prasejarah Malaysia mengenai zaman penduduk Jepun: The study of this period of Malaysian history has not received the scholarly attention that it deserve… Not only has no general history of the Japanese occupation been written, but also no study of the Japanese military administration at the state level has been undertaken. This leaves a wide lacuna in the historiography of modern Malaysia.
